Where: Worcester Hibernian Cultural Centre, 19 Temple St., Worcester, MA 01604
I-290 West, Exit 14. Take first right while on the ramp, Straight through the set of lights,
Left onto Temple street, Straight through at stop sign, Parking lot on left (across from Clem's
and St. John's Church). Enter through Fiddler's Green Pub. Meeting room is on lower level.
I-290 East, Exit 14. Take left at end of ramp onto Grafton Street. Go under bridge bearing right,
Left onto Temple Street, Straight through at stop sign, Parking lot on left (across from Clem's
and St. John's Church). Enter through Fiddler's Green Pub. Meeting room is on lower level.
What: Fun and a learning experience! :) One Game 45 each week with review upon completion of game. Who: All chess players who are unrated or under 1200 USCF who want to learn to play or improve their game! Scoresheets will be required, but we will teach those who do not yet know how to do this. It's easy so be not afraid. :) Please bring a chess set and board if you have one. This event will be CXR rated. No smoking, No Computers. Prizes: Win 4 Games and receive a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate!* (*Limit of 1 Game Win Credit per week) Attend 4 times and receive a chess medal - start a collection - different medals each month! Registration: Each week at 5:45 p.m.
